United Appliance Servicers Association is eagerly planning the Annual Service Training Institute (ASTI) in Orlando, Florida, January 8-12, 2025 at the OMNI Orlando at Championsgate.
In addition to a multitude of training classes, ASTI offers Independent Servicers numerous networking opportunities and the chance to connect with industry partners, including manufacturers, suppliers, and peers. Each year, attendees report that they left the convention feeling more confident and armed with the knowledge to run an effective and productive business.
In addition to the powerful benefits of networking, business classes help attendees make their businesses more efficient and profitable. ASTI also offers a dynamic array of technical classes where attendees can learn the latest techniques to repair ever-evolving high-tech appliances.
Trade Associations like United Appliance Servicers Association (UASA) were created to fill the need for training. As manufacturers continue to cut their budgets, OEM factory training opportunities are cut as well. ASTI is the leading training event in the appliance service industry, with roughly 900 attendees and technical and business training offered by manufacturers and industry leaders. ASTI is known for its impressive lineup of 200-plus classes that offer attendees intense training from vendors, including hands-on factory training on current and new models and technology, all in one location.
Beyond the rich spectrum of technical training classes, attendees will receive the opportunity to expand their knowledge through innovative classes in business management and basic and advanced software. ASTI’s classes can save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars over the cost of attending separate trainings or sending an employee to attend. The ASTI class curriculum is specifically geared to the needs of owners, service managers, customer service representatives, and technicians.
Beyond the technical, business, and software classes, ASTI includes a trade show featuring 70-plus vendors that servicers do business with every day. You’ll meet manufacturer representatives, parts distributors, and more, and you’ll enjoy live demonstrations on the latest software systems to help you run your business more proficiently and profitably.
Perhaps best of all, you’ll network with successful servicers from all over the country with goals and businesses just like yours. Every year after ASTI, people tell us how much they loved attending, how much they benefitted from the classes and training, how much they enjoyed renewing the friendships they’ve made over the years and the new relationships they’ve made. Many peer groups have grown out of these relationships, where servicers continue to help each other grow their businesses and thrive as individuals.
ASTI offers UASA Members a strong, compact lineup of training at a very reasonable price that includes five full days of training classes, an industry trade show, breakfasts and lunches, a cocktail reception on the trade show floor, an awards dinner banquet, and rich networking opportunities.
