The United Appliance Servicers Association (UASA) is thrilled to welcome Wendy Parker as our new Executive Director.
Wendy brings over 25 years of exceptional leadership and management experience within nonprofit trade associations, with proven expertise in strategic growth, event management, and membership development.
Experience
Wendy’s impressive career includes her most recent role as the Executive Director of the Florida Solar Energy Industries Association (FlaSEIA), where she guided the organization through a period of remarkable growth. Under her leadership, FlaSEIA expanded its membership from 50 to over 180 companies, launched a thriving annual trade show, and established itself as the foremost voice for Florida’s solar energy and storage industry.
Before FlaSEIA, Wendy dedicated 20 years to the Florida Swimming Pool Association (FSPA), where she advanced to Executive Director. She successfully managed a team of 10, oversaw a $1 million annual trade show, and implemented membership initiatives that delivered consistent year-over-year growth for over a decade.
Wendy’s leadership style is rooted in collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and a relentless focus on member success. Her passion for serving trade professionals is evident in her dedication to organizational missions and her ability to foster strong relationships with members, vendors and boards alike.
Education
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Florida Southern College and is accredited as a Certified Exhibition Manager (CEM) and Accredited in Public Relations (APR). These credentials highlight her commitment to professional development and excellence in association management.
