Become a UASA Board Member

The United Appliance Servicers Association (UASA) is looking for dedicated individuals to serve as board members. As a board member, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in promoting growth and trade development within the appliance service profession. Through mentoring, management and technical training, industry relationships, networking, and strengthening standards, you will be able to support and guide businesses toward success.

What will I do as a Board Member?

Serving on a Committee

The board is divided into various committees that meet regularly to address the needs of the organization. These committees include ASTI, ASTI Lite, Communication, Education, By-Law Review, and more. As a board member, you will be expected to actively participate in these committees and contribute to the organization’s progress.

Annual Servicers Training Institute Participation

Board members are expected to attend ASTI events and offer support and structure to the event. You will have the opportunity to network with the membership and attend classes to further your knowledge and skills. You may also be asked to teach or assist in classes and assist with events. Board members are also encouraged to attend classes and give feedback to improve the overall quality of the organization.
