Contest Rules, Deadlines, and Small Print
Contest entries will be judged by a panel of industry leaders and awarded points from 1-10 in the following 4 areas of their business: Website, Truck Appearance, Technician Uniform, and Social Media.
Scoring is at the full discretion of the judges. United Appliance Servicers board members do not judge the entries nor are eligible to enter the contest. Previous year’s FIRST place winners are not eligible to enter the following year. (2020 first place winners not eligible for 2021)
The top THREE scoring companies in each category will move to the semifinalist’s round. The Semi-finalists round will be held approximately 2 weeks after the contest closes and a virtual presentation and award ceremony will take place shortly after.
For the first time ever, all UASA members will have the opportunity to vote for the final winners. Members will vote for the most professional entry in each category. The entry with the most peer votes in each category will be crowned the Best of United Appliance Servicers Association 2021.
The contest is only open to domestic “Appliance” repair companies with service businesses operating in North America. Only one entry per service company allowed. Contestants do not have to be a member of the United Appliance Servicers Association to enter.
By entering the contest, you agree to allow United Appliance Servicers Association and contest sponsors to use your images in its marketing efforts.
Contestants must submit jpeg images of:

b) Service vehicle
c) place of business if applicable
d) online “active” website and or images of their social media presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, Google + or blog.
Lack of images in a, b, c or d will result in penalty points per scoring category.
