How to Import Multiple Contacts
Add a full batch of contacts for review requests using the BirdEye template.
Log into the BirdEye app. From the main dashboard, tap on the Campaigns tab on the lefthand-side of your screen.
From the Campaigns tab, click on the Contacts tab at the top of the page. From this page, click the white “Add Contacts” dropdown at the top and select “Upload Contacts.”
On this page, two options will appear. Click on the “Download template” button (first option on the left).
*If you have a multiple location setup, skip this step, and follow Step #4b.
Open the template in Excel and add your customer’s basic contact information. The only two fields that are required are Email and Mobile Phone (if Email is blank), but we recommend you include at least a first name as well. Save the Excel document.

Open the template in Excel and add your customer’s basic contact information. The only three fields that are required are Email, Mobile Phone (if Email is blank), and Business ID, but we recommend you include at least a first name as well.
The Business ID allows you to market your Campaign targets geographically. You’ll have to determine which location to assign the contact to since their city may not be the same as the locations you have set up in BirdEye.
How to Locate the Business ID for a Multi-Location Setup: Click “Settings” on the left. The Location ID next to the city name is the number you’ll need.
Once you’ve entered the business ID for each contact, save the Excel document.
Return to the Add Contacts page in the BirdEye app. Now, click the “Upload Contacts” button and “Save” to import your contacts.
Once you’ve successfully uploaded your contacts, you can send review invitations.
